Want to get fit this winter?

Below is the revised programme of winter activities at the Lochmaben Centre. Come along and join in. Remember individual bookings for the Centre and the Fitness Suite can be made by contacting the Centre on 01387 810599.

Lochmaben Centre logoThe winter opening times of the Lochmaben Centre are:
Monday to Thursday: 10 am to 9 pm
Friday: 2 pm to 8 pm
Saturday: 11 am to 2 pm

The Better 4 Walking Project meets at 10 am on Fridays the group take a gentle walk lasting 30–40 minutes for anyone interested in becoming fitter.
These sessions are free and will be run on a weekly basis. There is no need to book—just turn up!

Full programme of indoor sporting and leisure activities. Aerobics, yoga, judo, circuit training, soft play for pre-school, children's party facilities in a party zone. Also wide variety of community activities such as Senior Citizens Christmas Party, bowling, football, badminton, concerts and even a wedding reception.

The following exercise classes are available for all levels of fitness and are taken by qualified instructors. Teenagers can take part in the Adult Fitness classes at concession rate.

Monday

9.30 – 10.30 am    Easiobics   Light exercise to music. 

10.30 – 12.30 pm     Softplay Bouncy castle and softplay shape session. Term time. 

4.00 – 6.00 pm  SFA Football class for P1-P7. Term time. 

6.15 – 7.45 pm     Circuits High impact training class. 

8.00 – 9.00 pm     Kickboxing High impact training class. 

Tuesday

Wednesday

5.30 – 6.30 pm    Zumba      A fun intensive dance workout to music. 

8.00 – 9.00 pm  Pilates      Exercise class designed to stretch, strengthen and balance the body. 

Thursday

1.30 – 2.30 pm    Pilates    Exercise class designed to stretch, strengthen and balance the body. 

7.30 – 8.30 pm  BLT High impact training class.
