Life in the 13th Century was recreated on Sunday 2 August at Lochmaben Castle

Local people were given the opportunity to travel back to the 13th Century and pick up the skills needed to survive without Supermarkets, Clothes Shops, DIY Outlets, and Matches!

Bow Drill Fire-Lighting, Felting, Pole Lathe Skills, Time Travel Walks, Wild Food Guides & Demonstrations and other Ancient Skills were some of the skills on offer that day. Thanks to Rangers, Ross and Tom and local volunteers for giving people skills which have been used for centuries. The following photographs show some of the activities.
