Air Tricity have advised that the money from the Wind Farm will be due around the middle of April, and this will be £1,750.00. It was discussed with the committee that this is held over until next year and added together to buy the 30 mile an hour sign. The meeting agreed to this suggestion and asked Sandy Grant to write and put this idea forward.
Hazel Taylor from George Wimpey advised that the company has expressed a wish to support Lochmaben with their Senior Citizens Christmas Party and the Garden Fund. They have agreed on £400 for the Christmas Party for the next 3 years and £600 for the same period for the Garden Fund.

Councillor Dickie’s Report
Traffic lights at Shillahill Bridge are reported as being resolved and the traffic should be flowing better. One of the members advised that this is not completely resolved and requested that Michael look into it again.
Contractors will be patching the roads starting at Hunter House to Shillahill; there will be several other roads in the area being attended to, which was picked up during inspection. Drainage works will be ongoing in the area. The Annual Sports awards had stiff competition and results were Peter Hill – Football coach, and Hightae School won the category that Lochmaben School was in. The whole evening was a great success.

Plans are available to look at outlining all development for the future and Michael will verbally keep the meeting informed of the road works ongoing in the area every 3 months.
