Castle Loch Project Manager appointed

The Castle Loch Community Trust have just appointed Darren Flint as Project Manager for the Castle Loch.

Have you tried Pickleball?

An American sport started in Lockerbie by Pat Burnett of Lochmaben. We provide paddles (bats) and balls to play with on a Tuesday night from 6-30 to 8-30 at Lockerbie Town Hall. All ages welcome.

Minister Inducted

On Wednesday, 30 October the Rev Paul R Read was inducted to the pastoral charge of Applegarth, Sibbaldbie & Johnstone linked with Lochmaben.

Rare visitor to Castle Loch

On Thursday 10 October at Castle Loch LNR a SOUTHERN HAWKER Dragon Fly was            observed and photographed by Brian Henderson.

Les still cycling at 100!

Lochmaben's most recent centenarian, Les Brown of Vendace Drive, celebrated his 100th birthday with a cycle run to Dalton.

Origin of Bogle Hole?

Word has reached the Website that the Bogle Hole was originally the Bugle Hole as it was from there that Bruce came in to the town sounding his bugle! Is this true?

Day of the Region 2013 update
