Action Group

The aim of Lochmaben Action Group is to promote the well being of the community by providing facilities held in the Portacabin which is situated in the Primary School playground. A Management Committee meet once a month and oversee a range of groups such as the Lunch Club either on a weekly or monthly basis.

There are 2 rooms, toilets and a kitchen in the premises and there is a ramp for easy access. Each room has a capacity of fifty people and has eight large tables with stackable chairs.

The Portacabin can be hired for private functions, the charges ranging from £2.80 to £6.00 per hour per room

Once a month there is a "Fun Day" on the second Tuesday of the month at 2 pm when for a couple of hours dominoes are played and there is time for a cuppa and a chat. Everyone is welcome.

New members are invited to come along to the AGM and afterwards join us for a "cheese and wine" evening.
