Walking

Eight miles of walks around the town combine Rights of Way and local quiet roads. Detailed description of walks is found the Walking brochure, Walking in and around Lockerbie and Lochmaben, produced by Dumfries & Galloway Council.

Lower Annandale Walking Festival is held from Friday 11 to Sunday 13 May 2007 and contains 2 Lochmaben walks, one on Saturday and one on Sunday.

Southern Upland Way long distance footpath
